Emergency Procedures
The most important part of our safety program is making sure that you know what to do in the event of an emergency. When you arrive, take a moment to look for the emergency exits on your floor. Stairs are located at both ends of every hallway on every floor. Fire alarm pull stations are also located on each floor. In the event of a fire, pull the nearest fire alarm.
We recommend that you take a few precautionary steps after arriving in your guest room:
- Locate the nearest emergency exits
- Carefully review the map on the back of your guest room door
- Locate the nearest fire extinguisher and fire alarm
Fire Safety Procedures
Our hotel is equipped with a modern, efficient fire emergency system and smoke detectors in guest rooms and hallways. We want to make sure you are prepared to exit the hotel facility safely if any of our detection systems sound a warning, so we ask that you familiarize yourself with the following procedures.
Exiting The Facility
- Take your key.
- Test your door for heat or smoke before opening it.
- If the hallway is clear, exit by the nearest stairwell.
- Do not use the elevators.
If Your Door Feels Warm
- Place wet towels at the base of the door.
- Dial 0 for Guest Services, give your name and room number.
- Turn off your air conditioner or heater to keep smoke from entering the room.
- Get down on the floor to avoid inhaling smoke.
